The causes of Hammer Toe

Hammer toe is a condition that causes the toes to bend at the middle joint this usually happens in the second, third, and fourth toe.

Hammer toe is usually caused by wearing shoes that are too tight or too short, or by wearing high heels for a long time causing an imbalance in the tendons or ligaments.

This condition can also result in corns and calluses as the toe can rub on your shoe or footwear.
